Hi I'm Katie. I’m an integrative therapist working with trauma and anxiety, along with extensive experience of working with clients with ADHD. I work with both adults and young people and I am an Accredited Member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) and also a member of the BACP (British Association for Psychotherapists and Counsellors).
My work focuses on increasing emotional regulation, addressing trauma-related and anxiety based symptoms and providing my clients with the tools and support they need to navigate their personal healing journey. For my clients also on their ADHD journey, I aim to offer practical strategies for managing symptoms and guide you in building self-understanding and confidence.
I use a mixture of different counselling modalities, including Psychodynamic and CBT Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, all delivered with a person centred approach. The therapeutic strategy I use is based dependant on your individual needs and this is something we will agree on together at our initial assessment.
I offer one to one therapy sessions from my therapy rooms on the Wirral, as well as providing online and telephone sessions.
