What I Specialise In
I work with a range of issues, but the areas I specialise in are trauma, anxiety, and neurodiversity. Many people come to therapy unsure of what they’re experiencing or how to describe it — and that’s okay. You don’t need to have the language for it all before reaching out. It may help to read a little more about each area and how I support clients within them.

TRAUMA
Trauma can come from a single event or from repeated experiences over time. It might be something that happened recently, or something from years ago that still affects you. Trauma can impact how safe you feel in your body, your relationships, and how you respond to everyday situations.
I offer a space where we can gently explore what you’re holding, without pressure or judgment. My approach is grounded in understanding how trauma affects the nervous system, and we’ll go at a pace that feels safe. Whether you’re living with the impact of childhood experiences, difficult relationships, or a specific event, we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded and in control.
I often draw on trauma-informed approaches including psychodynamic thinking and relational work, always with the aim of helping you feel more connected to yourself and your own resources.

ANXIETY
Anxiety can show up in many ways — overthinking, panic, social fear, difficulty sleeping, or a constant sense of unease. It can feel exhausting, especially when it starts to interfere with daily life, work, relationships, or self-confidence.
In therapy, we’ll look at how anxiety is showing up for you and what might be underlying it. Together, we can explore patterns, triggers, and ways of responding that help you feel calmer and more in control. I integrate tools from CBT to support practical strategies, alongside deeper relational work to understand the roots of the anxiety, where needed.
There’s no right or wrong way to experience anxiety — your experience is valid, and therapy offers a space to make sense of it at your own pace.

NEURODIVERSITY
I offer a neurodiversity-affirming space where your differences are not pathologised or judged. Whether you have a diagnosis, are exploring whether you might be neurodivergent, supporting a family member navigating neurodiversity or simply want support that respects your way of being in the world, I aim to meet you with openness and respect.
Therapy can help you explore identity, self-understanding, and how to navigate a world that often isn’t designed with neurodivergent people in mind. It can also support with the emotional impact that can come from masking, burnout, misunderstanding, or feeling like you don’t quite fit.
I work with many clients who are autistic, ADHDers, AuDHDers or exploring other neurodivergent experiences. I am always adapting the work to suit my clients needs— whether that’s a more structured approach, time for processing, or different ways of communicating. As we learn so much more as a society about neurodiversity I always welcome new ideas and approaches that may help support my clients as individuals and not diagnoses.

ADHD
If you’re living with ADHD (diagnosed or self-identified), you might find certain aspects of life especially challenging — focus, organisation, emotional regulation, time management, or maintaining relationships. You may also be carrying internalised messages about being “too much” or “not enough.”
In therapy, we can explore how ADHD shows up for you and work together to build understanding, self-compassion, and strategies that support you rather than work against you. I take a strengths-based approach that recognises the creativity, energy, and unique perspective ADHD can bring — while also validating the very real difficulties that can come with it.
